PNE got off to a flying start, an opening shot from Anna going just wide.  Euxton Villa recovered well and were soon on the counterattack, with Fran working hard in defence.  Euxton Villa had a shot on target but a good save from Megan kept the scoreline neutral.

PNE then had a sustained period in command, with Lucy, Sarah and Charlotte linking up well at the front.  This lead to several goals in quick succession for Lucy and Charlotte. A great corner from Sarah was then rocketed into the right-hand corner of the goal by Lucy, who minutes later managed to squeeze another goal in just before half-time making it 6-0.

Euxton Villa kept their heads up and started the second half well, with some good defensive work from Jas and Anna keeping them at bay.  Cadence was working hard on the right-wing, a good pass through to Sarah led to another goal for PNE.  The Euxton Villa goalkeeper did well to keep out further attempts on goal from Jas and Sarah, and a strike from Fran hit the post.  Euxton were now struggling to get out of their half, and two further goals from Lucy led to a final score of 9-0.

Overall, a great team performance with some fantastic passing between the girls!
