Our Under 14’s travelled to Barrow in Furness in Cumbria by coach on 24th Jan to play their postponed LFA quarter final match in the Girls Youth Cup.

The girls ended up playing on Walney Island, which was an experience in itself. The pitch was good but there was a gale blowing off the Irish Sea which made it very tough conditions!

Not to be un-deterred, the girls put in a fantastic performance to beat Barrow Celtic Juniors 9-0 and are now through to the Semis!
