We are please to announce that we will be providing an automated external defibrillator (AED) for use at our Club at Uclan for home matches and training.

The AED is a portable defibrillation unit which helps to treat a patient with a cardiac condition.

This is designed to be simple to use and the use of AEDs is taught in many first aid and basic life support classes.

We are now looking for volunteers who would be interested in completing some basic life support training, using the AED, preferably from each team so that we cover all home matches.
