Fantastic evening of live band fundraising for the club!

On Friday 26th Feb, we held our fundraising evening which included a Live Band ‘The Threads’ and a hot pot supper at the Deepdale Club in Preston.

The live band were excellent and played a range of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s music! The hot pot supper was enjoyed by all! Mitch (U16s Coach) made the night with his ‘Play your card right’ and drawing of the raffle. He made the audience laugh with his ‘tongue in cheek’ humour, and Emily Hutton (u9s Coach) was his ‘Dolly Dealer’!

The main raffle prize, the PNE clock donated by Darren Livsey was won by Ian Bolton (U12s parent and helper on the evening).

A number of parents could not attend due to family commitments but the fundraising for the night came to £703, a fantastic total!

We have to give a big thank you to the Parent Rep committee who organised the event and to everyone who supported it!

The live band ‘The Threads’ are highly recommended for anyone wanting live music at a celebration event. If anyone would like to book them please see Carol Lyons (Under 12s).
