PNEWJFC 1-1 Academy Juniors

This was the under 16s 1st competitive game for over 2 months.on a very heavy pitch. The whites started brightly and went ahead through Heather Crook with a well taken finish after a cracking run down the wing. The 2nd half so academy come allot more into the game and deserved there equaliser from a well taken free kick. Good result in the end with some heavy legs near the finish. Special mention to Leigh Rowland and Emily Marsh who where both excellent.

PNEWJFC 6-0 Town Green

Only having 7 girls did not affect the performance from PNE. We played the best football of the season, and the best I have seen from any team all year. Town Green were well organised, and did not deserve the scoreline, but Ellie in goal produced possibly two of the best saves I have seen from a keeper all year. Our passing and moving was exceptional, we look confident on the ball, and even the newer players are relaxing and becoming confident. The girls are understanding the need to pass and move, and have seen the benefits, so are pleased to play good football.
The development is incredible, and things look very promising for the girls.
