This was the first home fixture of the season for the under 10’s, and the first game with both George and Jonny in charge. It soon became apparent we were in for a great game as the two sides looked evenly matched.  The opening minutes saw a closely fought battle in midfield with Fran, Jas and Cadence seeing plenty of the ball.  Sarah and Anna worked well together in defence to keep Dynamo Rangers at bay.

PNE kept plugging away, with some great movement up the left-hand side of the pitch.  Lucy eventually broke through the Dynamo defence to score her first goal of the game.  Dynamo Rangers fought back with a couple of shots on target and were unlucky not to equalise due to some brave saves from PNE goalkeeper Megan.  PNE also missed a couple of chances.  Dynamo Rangers were unfortunate in conceding an own goal just before half-time, making it 2-0 to PNE.

Dynamo Rangers started the second-half strongly.  Anna made some terrific clearances and Megan was also called into action again!  A good cross in from Charlotte on left-wing was rocketed into the goal by Jas, making it 3-0.  The PNE girls continued to work well together, with some great passing moves leading to two further goals from Lucy.

Final score PNE 5 Dynamo Rangers 0.  Great performance from all the girls and well done Megan on another clean sheet!
