Under 16s

PNEWJFC 7-2 TMS

The under 16s had a comfortable win against TMS from Liverpool, running out 7-2 victors. Goals form Holly Rawcliffe 4, Heather Crook 2, and Becky Ruscoe 1. It wasn’t the best we have played this season but 3pts in the bag nonetheless. Special mention for Holly and Rusc who both had good games.

PNEWJFC 4-0 Burnley

An early 10.30 kick off at a cold, damp Burnley saw the 14s maintain their good league form. A rocket shot from Neve Nizinkicwicz-Steel was only parried by the Burnley ‘keeper, and fast reactions from Olivia Rees gave PNE an early lead. Good link up play between Olivia Wilkes and Olivia Rees saw Neve Nizinkicwicz-Steel score a well-deserved second goal and see The Whites go in at the break with a 2-0 lead. The second half saw PNE add a third with the passing move of the game finished off by Ellie Ditchfield and Leah Molloy added a fourth with a confident finish. Next week The Whites face a tough away fixture against the fillies.
