In April 2012 our  under 13s and our under 16s flew out to Dallas, Texas, USA in to participate in the Dallas International Girls Cup – a prestigious International Girls Tournament, drawing teams from USA, Canada, Scandinavia and Australia.

Our hosts for the Tournament were the Dallas Texans FC who did their upmost to ensure we all had a fantastic time and to whom we are very grateful. A number of our players made some great friends and many are still in contact following our return home.

Such was the tremendous experience for our players and the level of competition in the tournament that it is now our ambition to make available the opportunity for our teams to play in International competitions every year.

We believe that such events can help to raise our profile as a Club Internationally and build new networks with overseas, coaches, players and clubs which we hope will not only help our club develop and evolve but also assist with player and coach retention and attraction going forward.

The trip was undoubtedly the trip of a lifetime for our players and an experience that they will remember forever.
