On Sunday 8 September 2013  our Women’s 1st team will host Leeds United in their second home game of the FA Women’s Northern Premier League this season at Bamber Bridge FC, Irongate Ground, Bamber Bridge, Preston, PR5 6UX.

Players from our Under 10s and Under 11s will be guests of honour at the game and will also be mascots at the kick-off for what promises to be a massive “wars of the roses” game. Our Juniors will experience the big match build up behind the scenes and will meet our 1st team players and Management Team as well as participating in some light training on the pitch.

Junior Club Vice Chairman, Peter Millington said ” This is a wonderful day for our Junior players as it gives them a real insight into what its like to play at highest standard of Women’s football in England outside of the Women’s Super League and we are really appreciative of everyone connected with the Women’s 1st team in inviting us along.” Peter went on to say “The reality is that in just five or six years some of our Junior players could be taking part in a game just like this for our Women’s 1st team. Events like this are inspirational for our Juniors and motivational for our Seniors and a really good example of how well the Juniors and Seniors at PNE work together .”

Kick off is at 2pm and admission is FREE so come along and lend your support to our Women’s 1st Team in what promises to be a great Lancashire v Yorkshire showdown.
